The concept for AARO originated from a simple gesture. Simon Schmitz wanted to achieve a perfectly fluid motion, which immediately led him to incorporate a sphere. The final product seems to be moved by the wind, revolving effortlessly around its centerpiece like orbiting planets.

Aaro Table
Table lamp crafted from steel and aluminium. The inspiration behind AARO began with a simple gesture and a desire to create the most fluid movement possible. This exploration naturally led designer Simon Schmitz to the sphere as the central element.
Aaro Wall
The AARO Wall Light by DCW éditions combines sculptural elegance with effortless functionality. Its distinctive spherical joint acts as the pivot point, allowing the luminaire to glide smoothly into position with minimal effort.
The result is a wall-mounted light that appears to float in space, bringing a sense of lightness and precision to the interior while echoing the graceful movement of celestial bodies in orbit.
Aaro Ceiling
The AARO Ceiling Light by DCW éditions is a striking combination of engineering and design, bringing flexibility and visual lightness to overhead lighting. Suspended from a central mounting point, its slender arms and precisely balanced structure allow the light source to be positioned exactly where it is needed.
